"Wowed" in Cincinnati

I was featured again on Hip Homeschool Moms this past Friday, sharing more about my experience at the Great Homeschool Convention in Cincinnati. I hope the post - which you can read here - motivates every homeschool mom to attend "a convention of some sort every few years."

I LOVE going to the convention! Had I known you would be there, we might have been able to meet up! At which booth did you volunteer? When I first started attending the convention, I was a volunteer for GHC. It's so much fun to volunteer, and I did that for 2 or 3 years. Then, I decided I wanted more time to attend workshops and browse the great hall. I'm glad you finally got to have a convention experience too!

Hi, Lisa.
Yes, I wish I"d known you'd be there! I did get to meet a couple of virtual friends in person, and that was great fun. I may be going again next year - I'll be sure to "advertise" ahead of time. (Oh, I was working the Celebrate Kids booth for/with my friend and "boss," Kathy Koch. Did you get to hear any of her talks?)

I always attend our local convention!! It's a great way to connect with other parents, pick up used curriculum, purchase new curriculum and learn!! I always feel so renewed after going to ours!
